Alright guys, I just bought a '12 F150 with remote start. The dealer gave me two keys but only one of them had the r/s ability. I have went and bought another key with the r/s but I do not know how to program it. On my 05' it was a just a matter of turning the key in the right sequence. Can anyone tell me how to program the new key and will it work with the r/s?
You guys have saved me so much money in the past with your knowledge... I hope you can deliver yet again...

 

I can't answer your question, but I can give some insight into the keys...

My 12 F150 came without the remote start (I bought it new) but I made the dealer install remote start as part of my trade in on the old truck. The remote start came with 2 keys with remote start. So when I took delivery I got 4 keys... 2 with remote start and 2 without.

This probably means you have 2 missing keys that were not given to you.

Yeah, when I go to the mykey on the productivity computer it says that I have 4 mykeys.

 

So guys after spending a few hours on the the ol'enterweb... I was able to program my keys with remote start for my 2012 XCab... Thanks for the help...
