I did a search and found threads but all the pics have aged off.

I love my 2014 STX but the center jump seat is useless to me. What are my options? So far all I can see is the XLT flow through with the 4 cup holders or the STX Sport one which has the two small cup holders and the oddly place cell phone indent (I think that is what it is). I really don’t want to build anything myself but I am open to other options.

And I am going to go out on a limb here and say it would be a nightmare to convert my column shift to the console shift so I can do the FX2/4 console?

If you have pics of any swap or alternative, I would love to see them. 09-14 only please though. I don’t know if 04-08 options will work in the 09-14.

 

Just search ebay for 09+ F150 center console. all you do is remove the jump seat (4 bolts I believe) and bolt in the console using the same bolts.

I did this in my 13 stx and my dad's 13 stx. Like you said only easy options are the xlt or stx sport consoles. I had to drill 4 holes in the middle seat bracket and used self taping screws to secure the console. You can pick up a console on ebay for 200 or more.

 

Thanks for the replies. I didn't want to pull the trigger without knowing all my options. I will go with the XLT console sine it has the most options. Does it have any electrical in it from the factory?

 

It has a 12v plug like the middle seat.

 

Ah, I see. I guess I have never noticed the plug in mine. Its kind of a pain to get to so I haven't really gone exploring.

 

Does your center seat have cup holders or anything on the back of it when folded down?

 

FWIW the 14s console brackets go under the front seats. So you'd have to pull the front seats out to get the console bracket /seat frame changed out.

You also can put an older 04-08 console in your 14 but it takes a little bit of modification to get it bolted into the truck
