I have a 2013 f150 platinum with the 100 series remote start that is terrible on range , I was wondering if anyone swap theres for a 200 2way series and was is there thoughts to it or should I go with something else . i would like it to work like it does now everything goes by climate control but longer range not 30 ft .

 

Has it always been that bad? If not then check the batteries.. These remotes use batteries like no other.. I have the 100 series and havent had a bit of trouble with the range.

 

I did try new batteries and it still has no range . I could be looking at it threw a window at a supper market and it still wont start . I would like it to have 2 way so i know its running . My wifes subaru starts great in side a cinama or store and it has 2 way . Sometime mine wont start in my driveway pending how it is parked . Less then 20 ft from my kitchen table .

 

Have you installed any other aftermarket electrical/electronic items in yer truck?

Are you running LED bulbs anywhere in yer truck?

Could something as simple as yer remote is going south. Tried both remotes?

Or - the receiver is going south.
