What to expect for pricing-2014's

I was a long time F-150 owner, and a frequent member here until about four years ago when Hurricane Irene totaled my 2010. I am currently looking to buy a new truck, and was looking at possibly getting back into an f-150. I have not seen, heard, or read any incentives at all for the 2014's. I know the 2015's are due any day, so figured I was on good timing.. Maybe not? What should I expect for pricing incentives before I go talk to any dealers? Should I wait longer for a better leftover deal?
I'm in upstate NY and unfortunately most ford dealers around here stink, biggest reason I left ford after the last truck, so any help is appreciated before I go in to look.

Ford is not offering much in incentives as they have done a much better job controlling their inventory. In Texas, I think they are still offering only $3250 on an XLT, which has been there for several months. However, dealers have been giving better discounts. I was able to get $10,000 off on an XLT back in September. Same amount off I got back in 2011. All depends on the dealer.

I got a little over 10 grand knocked off of the window sticker on a 2014 STX Supercrew. Probably going to depend on the local dealers and if they need to move inventory. You might take a look at air fares and move out of NY for a purchase. Most dealers around here will pick you up at the airport and deliver the vehicle to you and you drive it home. I wouldn't just look locally.

There better be deep discounts, imo. I just looked at pricing, because gf wants a ram. After looking at prices, either I will be getting an F250/350, or buying a Ram. The prices on the new F150 are just crazy stupid. I can get a decently equipped F350 quad cab for roughly the same cost as an XL 150 crew with sport appearance package and tow package. I cannot see buying a 150 at the prices they are asking. My current 150, may just be my last one, unless I find a deal too good to pass up. I get supplier discount/x-plan through my employer.

Seems strange that the incentives were better a few months ago than they are now. I got $4500 in rebates back in September.

I agree, that it makes no sense. After giving it some thought, I would be better off just getting a decent 4.6L, from U pic A Part, and sending it to MMR for rebuild, and adding adding an STS kit to it. The cost would be far far less, than buying new. That and I like my Flareside.

Try Truecar.com.

They list out all of the available incentives, financing offers, and rebates available through Ford. It will give you a good idea of what the sticker is, before any internet / dealership discounts.

And for what it's worth, I bought my STX Sport in October, and got nearly $11K off of MSRP.

As I stated above, Ford has managed their inventory much tighter. They don't have to give the big rebates to move what they have remaining. Also, as I said it's what you pay that counts. The dealers are giving more discount, you can still get $10,000 to $12,000 off. That is what counts.

That 10-12k could get me a rebuild, capable of handling more boost from an STS. Prices of new trucks are just flat out crazy. Not paying as much, or more, for a truck, than I did my house.

Yes, and the 2015 prices are even crazier. They will keep raising the price till we quit buying.

Hi I am from Canada and a month ago I bought a 2014 f150 XLT, the window sticker was at $47294.00 and convince the dealer to add side steps and a spray in bed liner. I paid $29855.00 before sale taxes.
The vin is : 1FTFX1EF8EFB19654
From what I'm reading I find that I got a reasonable price, didn't have any trade in

My mother purchased a 2014 F150 King Ranch 2wd 5.0 about 6 weeks ago. Everyone was about the same around central Texas. I was able to get $9500.00 off sticker. I was hoping for more because I was looking to get a '14.

NC is way different, I guess. They've been offering 15k/30% off MSRP since November. I was just back at the dealership last weekend, and they still had 2 F-150s out front with 15k off signs on them.

The deal seems to be largely through Ford, as it requires you take Ford financing and have a trade-in.
