Idle drops and knocks

I just recently bought a 2009 f150 5.4 with 88,000 miles. Since I have had it I changed all fluids put new plugs in and cleaned the throttle body. Currently I'm having what seems like a big issue. When I rev to 1000 rpm then let go then rev to 1000 rpm again after the second or third time doing this (like when your going through a drive through line) my engine drops rpm below 500, knocks and then seems like it's going die. I put it in park right away and rev the engine and everything returns to normal. No check engine light goes on. Sound familiar to anyone?

Hi Eml7680,

Welcome to the forum! It might be time to get this in front of your dealership so they can inspect. If you decide to get a diagnose from your dealer, I'll be able to look into some ways to assist. Either way, keep us posted on your outcome.
