Question Removing XTR sticker

I'm trading in my '05 Screw for a '14 Scab XTR package, both vehicles gray in colour.
I can't decide if I wanna remove the XTR decals. Has anyone considered or done it?

Shouldn't be too tough. I'd say a heat gun, a little Goof Off or Goo Gone, and some patience you should be good. I have not taken a decal off a Ford but stripped plenty of sport bikes...just be careful with the heat gun...a little at a time

Thanx.

But I was referring more as to the appearance of the truck with the XTR lettering. Perhaps it would give it a cleaner look without the decals? I'm undecided which way I wanna go.

Some have removed the 4x4, FX4 and FX2 decals. Makes a cleaner look in my opinion. If I bought a truck with a decal, it would be coming off.

Took the STX decals off of the Supercrew. I didn't need a heat gun or anything. Just start peeling them off. It was sunny and mid 80's when I did it. I waxed the area to get any residual yuck off. I was kinda surprised how easy they came off.
