sounds soo good

Well, Well, Well,
that custom itch has started to grow and I took my Rig down to one of the cities premiere custom exhaust shops yesterday. After about a 15 minute back and forth conversation with one of the head guys there, we decided to go ahead with a true dual system that would sound as close to a mustangs authentic one off sound. Why Mustang you may ask because a mustang with an aftermarket exhaust sounds sick as hell. Just gets the blood pumping. I must say a couple of hours later the tech cranked up my truck and I was impressed. I wanted a nice deep mellow tone nothing too loud or obnoxious, yet still had that you better watch out tone. I love it and I'm surprised that the mufflers which are Flowmasters (BIG fan of Magnaflow) actually sound great and are responsive. If you are ever in the new Orleans area give the guys over at Supreme Muffler in Metairie a call. They take the time and work with pride to bring out the best sound in your ride.

I live in Hammond and I deal with a custom shop in Kenner called The Mud Hole. Their right by the airport. I am looking to get a set of Flowmaster outlaw series cat back exhaust with a dual exit coming off the corner of my bumper. If their as good as you say, I will definitely have to check them out!

Good job getting duals and I'm glad you like it! Wish I had done true duals, because the Mustang sound is exactly what I like too, and I'm gonna end up converting over to true duals eventually. Exhaust is certainly my favorite part of a vehicle, and a mandatory first mod.

KMF Supercrew I know about that shop The Mud Hole. I may have them do my lift. My original plan was to have a true dual exhaust that ran out the back underneath the rear bumper. I purchased the tips that I wanted and had them ready lol now I still have the tips because we went with a totally different setup for the sound that I wanted. The outlaw series is suppose to be a good muffler. Im sure you'll be happy with the outcome.

thanks KMAC I have put a set of pipes on just about every vehicle that I have owned. In my opinion true duals are a must for the car/truck/ enthusiast. There were two mustang owners in the shop where I got my exhaust done and they liked what they heard as well.

Backnblack, I believe it is the Flowmaster 40 series they wanted to install the 10 series and I told them that I didn't want to **** off any old ladies if I were going through my neighborhood back at home lol definitely don't want to attract police attention by pulling off at a traffic light. I didn't take any photos but I will get some and post on here later. I wanted to take some while my truck was on the lift but I didn't get a chance to.
