Mystery water leak

I have a water leak that I have not been able to track down yet. My passenger side carpet is getting completely soaked and a lot of water is collecting in the tray that runs under the door sill. Yesterday I checked all the usual suspects to hopefully find the source of the water. I pulled the A pillar trim piece and it was bone dry. That ruled out the GPS/SAT antenna on the roof and the sunroof drain tubes. I went ahead and ran a wire thought the sunroof drains just in case. The wire came out clean and dry the headliner was also dry and doesn’t appear to have gotten wet so I don’t see them as a culprit. I checked the 3rd brake light area and the headliner is dry and does not have water stains like my 2005 did when it leaked. That left the A/C drain tube. I checked it and could see where water has been running down the exhaust pipe and the inside of the tube did not seem to be clogged (the new body style trucks have a much larger tube than before). I also ran a wire through it and it came out clean. I had the truck nosed downhill and a after it ran for a minute or two water dripped out. It seems to be working. This is a fairly new issue so I think it’s safe to rule out a build issue since the truck has gone 3 years staying dry. What other place is there for water to be leaking into the cab?

I would suspect the windshield.

A guy on here had a water issue and traced it down to the windshield under the cowl trim. He did a write up on it, but I can't recall the title just now. It seems that there is some kind of positioning clip that either breaks or isn't sealed real good. It seemed like it was a pretty straight forward fix.

He had it at the dealer several times and they couldn't find it. IIRC

I'll take a look at the DIY's and see if something sparks my foggy old fart memory and post the link if I find it.
