I picked up a 2014 XLT yesterday. The seat belt chimes that were disabled on my 2012 were annoying. I looked at the Owner's Manual, unless I read it wrong, indicated that the seat belt chimes were not able to be disabled. On a lark, I tried the procedure from my 2012 and it seemed to work. If you want to give it a try '14 owners ('13???), download the 2012 Owner's Manual and follow the instructions. Good luck.........

 

It's actually in the manual how to disable the chime. Has been for every year as far back as 2005 that I know of.
