hmmm wonder why my lie o meter is not as acurate as others. I have been off from day one. You can click my fuelly icon and see the actual vs. truck computer and its never close. Oh well still better than my last three on actual.

Do this: next time you fillip, reset A or B to zero. Then the next time you fill up, set the nozzle on slow. When it clicks off, don't top off. See if the mileage and gallons used on the computer is not very close to what was pumped in and the mileage calculated mathematically. Mine is usually within a tenth if not right on.

Ever since my 2nd full tank of gas mine has been dead on to .3 off. It may just depend how you fill up like Jim said.

Thats how i do it also, except i click it once after topping off, i dont know why i top off this truck. On my 03 Kr when it popped off i could usually get another 3 to 4 gallons in it. This truck i click it 1 time after it pops off, if i top it off more than 1 clicks gas poors out of the bottom everytime

My truck is very accurate, but my 2012 Fusion is off by 2.0-2.5mpg (reads high). I wish there was a user input where you can enter actual gallons at each fill and it would 'learn' and become more accurate over time, but few people give a darn about mileage anyway...

Headed to Austin tomorrow.. Im going to do the 68mph cruise there and see if im still around the 22 mark. So far last 2 trips with that speed has yeilded the same mpg.

Patrick, that doesnt count, your lowered, 2wd and drove 62mph.. People want real data!

In all seriousness though that pretty darn good.

I just wanted to make sure the first trip wasnt a fluke, but after 3 trips now and its still right around the 22mpg. Atleast i know for sure now.

Back to sitting the cruise at 80 from now on.. These 68mph trips suck! Haha

I broke in my Ecoboost with the goal of seating the rings first, then avoiding constant MPG to vary engine RPM's. Based on unmeasurable oil consumption between dip stickings, I'm thinking the rings are seated now. I don't think it's really accurate to say zero oil consumption, but that's what it looks like.

It's just over 1300 miles and I did a 25+ mile run at 60 mph and I'm getting north of 23 mpg based on a pump fill up & hand calculating. I had some hills to climb or MPG would have been significantly higher. I haven't bothered to look at MPG because I wasn't driving it for fuel economy when I was breaking it in.

Overall mileage of this F150, so far, is within 2 MPG of the 99 Toyota Tacoma that had a 2.7L 4-Cylinder engine and a whopping 160 HP and a tow capacity of 4000 lbs.

I've also achieved sticker economy on my 2013 Eco XTR 4X4 SuperCrew 6.5' MaxTow, and that was on winter gas, and fairly new engines barely broken in. My dad has the same truck except 5.5' and my best friend has the same truck as well except SuperCab and all three trucks have achieved under 10L/100km on the highway (9.6 to be exact) which is outstanding for a truck this big.

That being said, I just leveled and bought 33.5's so I'm saying goodbye to that. Still nice to know it can!

Well the ol Eb rolled over 40k this morning. Not much has changed on the truck since i posted this thread a few months ago. I got some new tires and bumped the size up to a 275/65/18 from a 265/60/18, I was afraid it would hurt my mileage but i havent noticed much of a difference.

I snapped a pic when it rolled over 40k and the fuel mileage was sitting at 22mpg and combined is still 17.9. Window sticker shows 22hwy, 18 combined
