Bullbar questions.

I'm wondering if all bull bars that are made for the 09-14 f150s stick out from the bumper the 2-3" or so that I always see. Or can they be mounted so that they tuck right up to the bumper?
Thanks,

At least with mine, you could adjust how much it stuck out. I made mine vertical cause it looked goofy sitting more flush because it was leaning back.

I'm debating getting a bull bar myself. I'm torn though; I can't decide if it would look tacky or if it would be a good fit. I like the looks of them, I've just never thought about one until recently. Ironically, I bought a bug deflector to cover up some of the ugly chrome on the grille, and now I'm thinking of adding a giant chunk of chrome in the form of a bull bar I can't decide if it would be a solid looking add-on or make it look like a wannabe tough guy.

Thoughts for my truck in particular? Classy touch or sore thumb?

Personally, I think they look out of place, and I own one . . . I think it makes the truck look "tougher" but not better. Like how giant replacement bumpers are really bad A, but ugly, if that makes sense.

The brown definitely lends itself to chrome though.

I thought they looked good until i kept seeing them on chessy SUV's. I was close to buying one several times, I also didn't want to loose my front tow hooks. So I ended up going with an Nfab Prerunner bar. I think it fits my truck better anyway.

That thing looks great. I'm probably gonna hold off on mine for awhile. I'm not sure if I like the looks enough to spend the money on one. If I had a grey or black truck, maybe I'd go for a black one. But I feel like the chrome will be a bit much.

Not a bull bar fan, but I do like the Trail Fx full rap brush guard.
