help with lift on 2012 screw 4x4
Just bought a 2012 screw 4x4. My previous truck(2007 King ranch 4x4) has 325-50 Nitto's on it. (35's). I kept the tires and rims. I had 1/4" backspacing on the front tires. I'm wanting to raise the back up 1" and then level it. Any suggestions on which way to go for this setup. Don't want to spend a arm and leg and also try not to void the factory warranty. Last truck just had a leveling kit on front but still had some rubbing issues. Don't know much about any of this.pros and con's to just strut extensions or something like the rancho ready lift. Thanks for any help offered.
Because your shocks are likely still pretty new, an $80 2 to 2.5" Autospring level with ~$120 AS rear 2 to 3" (depending on how much rake you want) blocks would do the trick. It would be the same as your last truck with rubbing though. It's very difficult to stuff 35s that wide onto stock wheels without a lift and not have at least some rubbing.
Rancho Quicklifts and Bilstein 5100s are two options for new, extended length shocks to achieve front lift. These are better than a level kit, but I personally wouldn't get them until your current shocks have had it, or you prefer to upgrade. I like the Bilsteins better personally, but they're a little stiffer than the Ranchos, but in a good way in my opinion.
I have a 2" AS level and 2" AS rear blocks on my 2006 2WD and am entirely satisfied with both.

Anything you change can void the warranty. If your worried about it, you should go talk to where you get it serviced. They may require them to do the install for you to maintain the warranty.
