What are the sources of service manuals for the F-150?

Find someone, a buddy, that works at a dealership (preferably used) and get them to "borrow" one

How did you lose one on a brand new truck? Not badgering, just curious.

He said service manual, not owners manual. You don't get a service manual with a truck purchase, although, IMHO you should. You drop 50K on a truck but the $150 service manual is extra? It's not right. AFAIK no manufacturer ever gave a service manual with a truck purchase.

The complete service DVD is $1450. There is a service CD for $170, I don't know what the difference is. No paper manual.

However, there are some listings on Ebay for used DVD's:

Oh, oops haha. But yeah, you should get one, especially because they'll make you more inclined to spend more money maintaining it.

Who the hell is gonna pay $1500 on something telling them when they need to service things? That's asinine.

Just sign up for a subscription at www.motorcraftservice.com and download the pdf sections that you need. It's only 10 bucks for 72 hours. If you're really motivated, you can download all of the pdfs in a few hours. I did that and have a full service manual for very VERY short money. Biggest investment was my time.

Or you could just upload them to a site and everyone can have them for free. Lol

I have purchased the Ford service manual on DVD through eBay. I currently have the 2010-2011, 2012-2013 (July 2013 issue), 2012-2013 (Oct 2013 issue), and the 2014 Oct 2013 issue.

These are GREAT, they cover mechanical and electrical, with many diagrams, interactive 3D views, etc. They also cover MOST if not all models of each year, except the 2014 which is limited because of when it was released.

The only downside is that to use them, I have to reset the date on my computer to within 3 months of their issue date. If I don't do that, they will not load. It's no big deal to reset and use the DVD, and then reset the date back to the current date.

I paid $36.00 for the three discs (2010-2011, 2012-2013 Oct issue, and 2014) plus $5.00 shipping!

I had picked up the 2013 July version about 8 months ago from the same seller, but at the time paid $35.00 just for that disc. I picked up the set of 3 only because of the fantastic deal on them.

These are the genuine Ford service manuals and NOT a burned or bootlegged copy. Keep checking eBay and you should be able to find them at a very reasonable price'

This may work so you don't have to keep changing the date:
