Well, had a surprise purchase this week. My 07 FX4 was diagnosed with crank walk ( I was told this is common for this model year), and it was terminal. The repair cost would have been over 8000 to replace the long block. Truck only had 122k on it, but had stated to become a money pit. I have to say, this one really tested my loyalty with Ford, but I've heard only good things about the new trucks, so, I decided to give Ford another chance. I've owned 5 Fords, and they have all been great, other than this last one, and it was great until it had all its issues. Although still running, it was a ticking time bomb. The dealer made me a really good trade in offer, so I bought a new truck.

So, here she is:

2014 F-150 SCrew
STX w/ 201A Package
5.0L V8 Auto
4x4 w/ 3.55s and the Rear Elocker

So far, I love it.

Beautiful truck! I am glad Ford finally gives us a Crew Cab STX option. I only wish the STX came with factory carpet.

Yea, I love the STX package. Almost no chrome (I hate chrome) and just basic features. I personally LOVE vinyl floor because dog hair doesn't stick to it, and in my line of work, a lot of dirt gets tracked into the truck. You can get carpet now as an option though, and comes standard with the STX Sport package.

The only thing I don't like is the lack of storage and cup holders and the rubberized coating that are all missing from the jump seat arm rest. I'm temped to take it out and get the OEM console instead to gain back the storage.

Congrats sucks about your old truck but on the bright side the 5.0 6spd is a lot better. (My opinion) yea the middle seat console is nothing to be happy about. I swapped mine as soon as I got the truck. I got mine from bdmerchandise on eBay decent seller.
