I have a 2009 with 5.4L and I was just wondering if anybody had any advice for a loud aggressive sounding exhaust. The louder the better. If you have any sound clips/videos let me know thanks

I just put a IMCO single chamber muffler on my 5.4. its basically a knock off flowmaster super 10, just cheaper im on a tight budget so I went with this one... Anyways thing sounds great, aggressive but not that straight pipe pop, its got more rumble to it. not stupid loud in the cab nothing a good song can block out when you don't wanna hear it. I really like it, hasn't broke in fully but I love the sound so far! id deff spend the money for the flowmaster if you can. it will probably last a lot longer, better quality.

 

Best is likely a Borla if you can stomach the price tag. Search youtube for 2010 f150 borla for video. I put a SIDO Magnaflow dual rear on mine, and am pleased with the finished sound. It's agressive, and loud enough for me... too loud for the wife. It was much cheaper than the Borla. You can also find these on youtube.

 

I have the Borla ProXS and its pretty throaty to me. But search for a member on here Arklight. He has the Borla XR-1 which is louder. Both great sounds. If you search for our respective threads, you'll find the videos of our exhausts. We both have 2010's with 5.4's. Hope that helps.
