What specific Amsoil product are you referring to, which engine is in your truck, and how many miles a year do you put on it?

Amsoil is a good oil, sold by a great marketing company.

There are better oils, sold by lesser advertising companies, available for the same or less money..

Amsoil has a wide range of oils, some of which are the best you can buy. Priced accordingly. Their lower priced oils aren't anything special.

I used to use Amsoil in everything I owned. I just got really tired of the shipping costs and general unavailability of the product. Their upper end oils are second to none. I switched to M1 and went on my way........

I am running amsoil but I cannot comment on mileage. My truck gets less than 10k miles per year because I am usually in a company vehicle. I tend to change my oil once a year.
