F150 2011 vin location on frame.

Hello everyone.
I have problem with 2011 f150 truck.
So i bought f150 salvage title(thief recovery) and send it to Russia, when it came it wasn't vin number on dashboard(overwritten)
it was already inspected in US but on blue plate miss one character(kind of typo). I try to find on frame check everywhere but no luck. And right now Russian customs doesn't release truck.

Only way its find VIN number on frame, guys you my last hope, where it should be? If you have pics, diagrams, it very helps!

Some or all of the VIN should be on a sticker on the drivers door post, when you open the door and look towards the rear. It should have the date of manufacturing month and year.

I didn't think there was a VIN on the frame.

If there is a VIN on the frame, the exact location will be very closely guarded and only known to law enforcement agencies and insurance companies. There are some "secret" VIN locations, the same applies.

vin

the vin # is on top the frame rail by the splice in the middle of the frame where the front half and rear half of the frame are welded together (about the middle of the cab).

Check the glass closely too - a lot of vehicles have the VIN inscribed on all the glass.

I'm not sure about my truck, but I know my wife's Escape came that way.
I think it was to make the vehicle easier to track if it gets stolen, so maybe the truck doesn't have it?

Which character is missing? The first ones are all the same for every Ford truck...

VIN etching on the glass is aftermarket - some dealers do it as part of an additional cost "service package" along with putting nitrogen in the tires and stuff like that.
