looking for 09 XLT 5.4 TSBs...
Just took my new to me '09 super crew xlt 5.4 to the dealer after a huge bang which sent my truck rolling to the ditch causing extreme shacking, to find out ther drive shaft S.T.B! apparently there was a TSB out on it along with reprogramming and a few other technical things. Does anyone know where there is a official list of TSB's for this year/model that i can take to the dealer before i get my truck back. This is the second ford f150 in a year, and i just want a reliable truck! Any info would help and be greatly appreciated.
You can look them up on edmunds and it should list all relevant TSB's by year and model.

For a TSB to be applied by the dealership, especially if you're still being covered by the warranty (bumper to bumper or extended, if applicable). Requires that your vehicle exhibits the problem stated and the tech can observe it. Not sure if you're already aware of this or not, just offering it up in the event you're not.
Here's zip code to try 14204, which is one for the Buffalo NY area. Just be aware that TSB lists like this apply to a wider range of vehicles and may not be applicable to your truck. I utilize a site that requires a paid subscription but since it's a Ford site it's offers TSBs and other Ford service documents that are applicable to your VIN, not just your model year. Some issues are related to the plant a vehicle was built at or a range of manufactured dates. That site is motorcraftservice.com but most don't like the idea of having to pay for info.
Hope you find the info you need.

thanks svt22005, my issue i have with waiting for symptoms to start, if there are TSB that the techs can look up on this specific truck this should be done as preventative maintenance. The fact that this is my second F150 in less than 12 months with the same dealer due to issues with each truck, you'd think they would check the truck over to make sure nothing severe happens again..." the best customer is the one you see for oil changes and a upgrades."
