New Truck, New Mods, New Pics
I've been a member here for quite awhile, and over the years I've seen thread after thread of new trucks and new mods. Well, I suppose it's finally my turn! I posted a few pictures in the middle of another thread when I first got the truck, but I have since completed the majority of the mods I want to do to it, so I have some updated pictures to share. Enough babbling, here's the truck:
2011 F-150 XLT Supercrew 3.7L V6 4x2
For comparison, here's what the truck looked like when I brought it home:

And in the last month I've added the following mods :
- Removed plastic running boards
- Removed chrome wheel caps
- Added bug deflector (to cut down on some of the chrome)
- Low profile chrome toolbox
- 2" Autospring front leveling kit
- 285/70R17 Nitto Terra Grappler A/Ts

Next on the list is paint to match door handles and mirror caps.
Not bad for a 2wd V6!

That looks like a completely different truck! PTM mirror caps and handles will look great! I just did my tailgate handle and I'm very pleased. Only gripe is that the paint isn't as durable as factory, but not bad!
You tried to "cut down on some of the chrome" with a bug deflector but then added a big, chrome toolbox? I personally like the toolbox and it looks good, but it seems counter-intuitive

I also removed that plastic snow plow looking thing that hangs 4 or 5 inches down behind the front bumper, below the valence. Although I wasn't sure it was a good idea to take that off, I really didn't see it doing a whole lot of good, and it looks much better without it.
Thanks for all the compliments! It's definitely night and day difference

Haha, you got me there. I suppose I should have been more specific. I meant to cut down on some of the chrome on the grille. I hate how the top chrome part of the grille is not even with the top of the headlights. It's just a big ugly piece of chrome that juts out into the hood above the grille, so I decided to cover it up

May I suggest maybe adding a ~1 1/2" (or stock 4wd 1 5/8") rear block to bring the rear up a little bit to give it back a touch of rake?

Thanks! That was my goal!
I was thinking that might be a good idea too. I wasn't going to mess with the rear end, but after I added the leveling kit, the front end is dangerously close to being higher than the rear. I don't care for the looks of too much rake, but I definitely don't like the front end being higher than the rear. All I really wanted to do was get the nose off the ground and clear the tires, and now that that's done, maybe I should perk up the back end a bit. Hopefully it doesn't cost all that much. I'm ready to be done dumping money into the truck

I only wanted to mess with the front. You say it's dangerously close to being higher? Have you measured yet? Cause the nose looks noticeably higher to me, but it could be made worse because of what the eye expects. I put a 2" on mine and mine looked almost exactly like yours does, but mine may have been worse. My leaf springs must've gotten a little droopy over the years, because I have about 1" of rake now with a 2" Autospring block in the rear. But I'm happy with how it looks now! The blocks and U bolts are more expensive than the front level, but they take like 30 minutes to install versus hours! On a side note, my tires are only 0.3" taller than yours, so almost exactly the same, but your front end looks way higher and better with the larger gap.
