Talking New truck 13 f150 stx 5.0 pics

I haven't been on in a while (logged in) but still browse and read the forum almost every day. Recently decided to trade in my 05 fx4 (92,000 miles still ran good and looked good) on a new f150. I came home the other day with a 2013 f150 supercab stx 5.0 (not as nice as my 05 fx4 but the 5.0 runs good)

also over the summer, I talked my dad into buying a new f150 (he had a 02 ranger) 13 f150 stx 5.0

Only reason I bought a 5.0 is because my buddy bought a 2012 fx4 5.0 and my dad bought his with a 5.0 (I drove both and liked the power over my old 5.4) My cousin had a 5.0 xlt but (traded it in) on a ecoboost and loves it (says it has more power than his 5.0 had). I'm not against the eco but wanted the v8.

I already got the bug and started buying parts for my new truck, didn't like the jump seat, so bought a center console (also bought my dad one) will be here in the next couple days. Anybody looking for a jump seat let me know (will have two for sale) I got a sweat deal on the center consoles link http://www.ebay.com/itm/2009-2010-2011-2012-2013-FORD-F150-NEW-OEM-TAKE-OUT-CENTER-CONSOLE/251406241089?_trksid=p2047675.m1850&_trkparms=aid%3D222002%26algo%3DSIC.FIT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D19220%26meid%3D3477090923925974673%26pid%3D100011%26prg%3D8681%26rk%3D2%26rkt%3D5%26sd%3D331020618099%26
Future plans, leveling kit (not sure which kit to go with) maybe a AS leveling kit (had one on the 05 fx4) tint all the windows, install the black rims and tires I had on the 05 fx4 (only run these in the summer), purchase a bed cover, maybe smoke the headlights and taillights, either straight pipe the truck (buddy did this to his and sounds badass) or go with a borla muffler without resonator. Will update this thread in the future with updates I did to the truck.

Sorry for the long thread lol

I like the truck and the little Haul *** calendar in the garage

All the plans sound great too, except maybe the tinted headlights. These 5.0s sound incredible and still very loud with a small muffler and resonator delete! Looking forward to seeing what ya do with everything.

Not bad on the console price either!

Thanks guys, actually paid 275 a piece for the two consoles (called the guy he cut me a deal) also found out he purchases all the factory parts off (ford, chevy, etc) from the border patrol / US government. lol figured someone would comment on that poster.

Well today I took my truck back to the dealer to install mud flaps and rear wheel liners (was part of the deal when I bought the truck). I think the rear wheel liners make the truck look better and should keep all the crap out of the bed sides.

Nice looking trucks!

Yes, those look like they will do some great things keeping the crap out .... I hate when I spray the hose up there and black junk comes rushing out from under my taillights over the paint haah

Thanks, yea before I took it in this morning I got the hose out. Last few weeks been snowing here, today was actually in the 50s. I just cringed when all the crap was coming out from under it. By the way good looking truck. I would love to lift my new truck just don't want to void the warranty yet lol

Nice looking truck. I wanted to get the wheel well liners but was afraid the salt would get up there and I wouldn't be able to spray it out.

Thanks, the liners fit snug so I couldn't imagine anything getting between the liner and the bed. To be honest these should be included on brand new trucks from the factory.
