Question '13 FX4 pricing

Guys,

a question for those who've recently bought a new truck.

looking at this truck.

It is a new 2013 FX4, SCREW, 5.0, 3.55, 20" wheels, no other options FX4. (just what i'm looking for - bed liner and wheel well liners)

What have y'all payed, or would you expect to pay for this truck being that it is the end of the year and '14s are in?

It's sounding roughly 10k off. so 38 for a 48k truck. How much better could i get, this was no back and forth, just what we sat and talked about with incentives, no price haggling.

Last question, would x-plan get me a better deal?

Fixed your link.

You can probably beat X-plan unless the dealer tries to pack more crap in. X-plan gives you the vehicle for invoice minus 0.4%, plus a $275 admin fee. Also, the dealer's doc fee is limited to $100 or by local/state law, whichever is lower.

Mine is similar, but I have the sunroof and nav. My sticker was 49,700 and I paid 40,040. With x plan and rebates they took off 9,660. The dealer threw in a bedliner and wheel well liners for free.

If you can get between 9 and 10K off on a new truck your getting a decent deal, if you haggle you might get better, but I would not kick that deal out of bed on a cold night.

If there ever is a chance you might want or need the nav, then get it now. It's only 800 bucks and its almost impossible to add factory nav after the fact to an MFT system.

I don't know where you are but I test drove a white FX4 screw with a 5.0 before I bought my blue one, it's equipped identical to mine, same sticker price 49,700. It's located at Autonation Ford Westlake just outside of Cleveland Ohio. Go to ford's build and price and search inventory under this zip code 44070 and you can check it out.

I just looked and they must've sold the white one, they do have a silver one, and a white 14. But your not gonna get the same deal on a 14.

On a 2013, you can probably do better just haggling with the salesman. X-plan on that particular truck is ~$44,600 before incentives.

I just bought my '13 FX4 with the 402A package (but 18" wheels and EcoBoost) but I have A-plan so I paid less.

I have a 13 FX2 5.0 402A leather screw moonroof navigation 20" wheels, I got about $10,000 off of the $46,000 sticker

I think with the 14's on the lots now, you should be able to get a little more out of them.

I'm in the same boat right now. Have a 2012 Lariat but am looking at a 2013 FX4. I talked with my dealership today about a couple that sticker price was around 46 and was told 36 is where they would come in after rebates/incentive/etc.

I've always done plenty well buying my F150s without any plans but it made me curious, what exactly are the different plans? Which one gives you the best incentive? and who is it meant for exactly? Just wondering.

I'm holding out until next week to see how much of a Christmas spirit the dealer is feeling...

Just looked at my paperwork while thinking about this thread. I have a 13 FX4 401A (base from what I believe) 8400km Scab 6.5 box, tow package, 18" rims, truck came with the LT tires, box liner, and bug deflector, pretty much what I wanted, they had on a lot in their dealer network.

My sticker was $48,000 and change, with my x-plan deal and all the incentives they were giving at the time i saved over 12,000 bucks so my sub before taxes was 36 so after taxes fees licensing etc.. Was 40 and change, even with my ford financing with the cost of borrowing I will still be paying less than sticker for the truck and this was all in Canadian .

I felt this was a great deal (I may be wrong (please don't tell me if it's not )) comparable trucks in different brands were way more than this price so i went with this and I am happy with it.

Hope this helps you and I hope you find the truck that you're looking for.

The x plan is for ford partners, now whatever a partner is I'm not sure but in my case my electrical utility I work for, all our pick ups and cars are ford so that qualifies myself for the x plan, I've heard from other people that if you work for the government you get pretty much the same deal from any manufacturer, but again in my case I needed a specific log in and password for the partners site to be issued a PIN that the dealer needed to apply the savings

Again hope this helps anyone

X-plan is "friends and family" - a Ford employee can give you a PIN. You can also get X-plan if you have owned at least 100 shares of Ford stock for at least 6 months.

I was told by the dealer that A plan is for ford employees, D plan is for dealership employees, X plan is for suppliers/partners or friends and families, and Z plan is for ford retirees. Just for reference here is what the different plan prices were on my truck.

sticker $49,700.00
invoice $45,698.00
A plan $43,780.00
D plan $43,880.00
X plan $45,790.21
Z plan $43,780.00
