I have a soft tri-fold that I really like....but I saw my buddies G2 Backflip the other day and I can definitely see going that route in the future!

Bakflip F1 here. Never leaks, easy install and has held my nearly 250lb *** while taking pics at the races with no trouble at all. It's been on in below freezing weather to 100+ degree weather all with no trouble.

I've got the access lorado. It works great. I have tightened the clips too many times, but the cover looks nice and rolls up. My tool box sticks out of the 8'bed and the 6'6" cover fills the rest. The roll up stops at the tool box so the bed is walkable and the cover doesn't block access to the tool box either. If I had one small complaint, the paint wore off the part that snugs the fit and the bare aluminum discolors the cover at that point. One of my favorite purchases!

Don't know if cold gun metal bluing stick/pen will work for U quick and cheap ? I have used in on aluminum coffee coasters to highlight the marsh reed grasses and it does great and lasts.

I had a truxedo roll up soft cover on my 07. I plan on a BAKflip F1 and a BAKbox at tax time for my 13.

This may or may not affect you, but my truck is tall enough that I can't reach to the center of the tool box without getting in the bed. I was a afraid the hard cover would be in my way.

Unloaded the Chainsaw, extended trimmer, tool bags and all today not a drop of moisture. Cut up a pine tree and flipped the solid fold back, loading and hauled away great. Flipped it back into position and fastened down. The pines are just dying steady around here.
