Anyone else with Kodiak Brown?

Ive had my truck for 5 months and have seen a few Kodiak brown f150's and mine looks so much darker, Even on the dealership lot they have one and its looks alot more brown.

I have only seen my truck look dark brown a total of 4 times and all the other times its looks black. Any chance that when the truck got painted that it Wasn't a exact match of the color it should be?

If anyone has Kodiak Brown can you post a few pics?

Thanks

Local dealer has four Kodiaks (of 107 2013s). Looked at some pics of one on their lot and, like your first three pics, it had the same very dark brown color. Exactly like yours it seemed, when shot in strong sunlight.

Your last pic looks like it was under overcast skies. Guessing that's why it looks black. Don't see many Kodiaks in my area (mostly white, black, sterling gray). It is a cool color.

You have the only one Coy....

A handful in my town, two of them are two-tone lariats that look really sharp!

If you click on this link then click kodiak brown, this is the color of the vehicles ive seen.. On my truck you may see one fender or door brown and the rest looks black. Not complaining would just rather it be more brown.. Its hard to keep a wannabe black truck clean

I'm with fordman on this. Until this thread, I thought you had a black truck.

It's not the first time ford has done this, The lady across the street has a 2008 fusion in dark ink (yes that is the name of it) that is so dark you would swear it was black. Only in bright sunlight and when its clean can you tell its a really dark blue.

I talked my boss out of Kodak brown. He thought it was like the copper color they had a year or two ago. In my opinion it's about one drop of black from being, well black.

I have a '13 Platinum in Kodiak Brown. Mine looks just like KRC's, mistaken for black unless it is in bright sun.

Nissan Armada/ Infiniti QX56's have a very similar color choice that has the same characteristics, as well as a few other vehicles I can't think of off the top of my head. My dealership has mistakenly labeled some of the super dark brown ones as black, or they're labeled brown but look black in pictures. I've had a few funny interactions with customers where both of us are changing angles while looking at it trying to see what color it actually is.

Well cleaned it up real good today and i have to agree with it almost spotless and in the bright sun there is alot more brown
(really pretty color actually)Guess it just has to be really clean which is hard to do when its so dark in color and having a dirt driveway with the west texas dust.
