Thumbs up Tremor at MIS

I went to the cup race yesterday... walking to the track I found 2 F150 Tremor pace trucks in the parking lot by the helipad... these were from Saturday's race

They were nice looking trucks!

There are a few more pics here

Nice pics.

Here's some great videos of Brad Keselowski and Mark Williams giving their first impressions.

Looks like a nice truck and should sell well. But what Ford really needs to do is put a supercharged or twin turbo 6.2 in it and call it a Lightning and they will really have something.

Nah they should do like they have with the Mustang. Put a 5.8 in a 3rd gen Lightning.

Not really sure what I think about that interior. A shifter in that locations says car to me not truck.

The F150 has had that since, ummm, the '04 model, and last I checked, it does plenty well at truck duties. The shifter doesn't affect the trucks capability.

Personally, I wish my truck had it. I really don't mind my truck having the interior of a luxury car (I actually prefer it), as long as it takes care of the work it's supposed to do.

Everything from the FX4 with the Lux pack trim level, right on up to the top has that shifter location. Ya gotta get outta that STX a little more often Dewalt. I added Lux to my FX4 for two reasons.... leather seats, and that shifter. The column shifter is a little too "three on the tree" for me.

I like it. I plan on getting one early next year around tax time. I'm looking at getting a 2wd in blue flame and repainting the center of the badges to blue and ditching the tremor sticker and replacing it with an FX2 sticker. The truck is essentially an FX2/4 in a regular cab configuration with the ecoboost as the only engine choice.

I might even get a custom sticker made that has the FX2 on the top in its normal size/color and a smaller "tremor" script to replace the sport on the bottom.

Personally I would like to see the 6.2 or 5.0 as options under the hood!

The 5.0 is already available in a RCSB. If you want to go that route why wouldn't you start with a lower trim model without all of the bells and whistles that weighs less the Tremor does with the luxury pkg. and the appearance pkg..

Well, because then they wouldn't be able to complain about not being able to buy a truck that they wouldn't buy anyway!

See, it's the "give me everything I say want, even though I really don't want it because I really won't buy it anyway, or I'm gonna be mad and say what you are giving me sucks" attitude.
