Ecoboost MPG Thread
i just got my mine on saturday .. so i have to wait for the 3000/4000 breakin period. i bought it at a dealership 2 hours away and on the way back i averaged 16.7. hopefully these numbers will improve after the engine breaks in. my 2011 nissan frontier sl that i traded in, only got 18.4 on the way up there ... so i was happy considering the massive size difference.
Sounding good, boys, good to me! I'm leaning more and more toward Ecoboost. My '02 5.4 Supercrew with 3.55 differential gets 18 highway. So, that's kind of my base that I want to go from for highway. I had a '96 350 Chevy extended cab long bed that to 19.8 highway. Thing kept breaking down on me though, so I traded for my current 5.4.
