Exclamation 2013 f150 fx4 2" spacers good or bad?

I have purchased 2'' wheel spacers that are hub centric and have a wheel centric lip from the cjbargins store on ebay. They are made of 6061-T6 aircraft billet aluminum and come with 14x2 pressed-in heavy duty studs (grade 8 hardened steel). Before purchasing them I didn't do my homework because I am seeing a lot of stuff that deems them bad. I'm going to get them torqued on, drive 50km's then torque the spacers again (heard this was the proper way). Has anyone ran 2" spacers on their truck or installed them? Any problems? I am running stock 20's on them and the spacers are 6x135 to 6x135 same stock bolt pattern. I heard they put extra strain on the vehicles front end? Maybe space back 2 tires 2" and the front ones 1.5"? also heard anything over 1.5" is pushing it.. Any input would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks for you're time.

I have to run spacers on my car to clear the brake kit, and ive had no issues, but then again that's a car. going back and tightening the lugs again is a must though

I'd keep the amount the same front and back, otherwise I'd think it'd look slightly off.

And yes it does create more stress on the wheel bearings but it's because people take a 2" spacer and add it with a wheel that has like 4.5" of backspacing to get a new backspacing of 2.5" total, that's what creates the major stress. With your stock wheels being like 6" of backspacing it'll be a little better stress wise. And at least you won't have to trim a little off the stock studs since they're around 1.6" long iirc.

Safety wise, it's all on you. Keep them torqued properly and regularly check them and you should be okay. Neglect them and it could end very badly.

I'd suggest to stay away from spacers if you have towing package shocks. Rough!

How would wheel spacers affect ride quality?

In my last truck (06 f150) they didn't make much a difference. On my 13 f150, with the towing package shocks, the blocks demolished my ride quality! The towing shocks are already stiff and without much movement. The blocks "scrunch" the shocks taking that much more movement out of them. It makes for basically no play in your shocks. Sucks bad!

Wheel spacers, not leveling spacers.

Wheel spacers move the wheel out giving a wider stance, leveling spacers raise the vehicle giving you lift.
