While driving on the interstate between 65-75 I notice what feel like either transmission slipping or engine misses about every 1-2 miles. I noticed this before but it seemed to only happen randomly. Now it is pretty consistent so has anyone else experienced this? I feel like if I bring it to the dealer without some knowledge of possible issues I might get the run around..

 

I have had nothing like that.

I have the same year and engine. I get a single stutter occasionally (not every 1-2 miles though) which I figure might be the a/c compressor kicking on, but I'm not sure. Similar symptom in my wife's 2013 focus...
