ok .. I have a 2012 fx4 ... truck currently has 6,600 miles on it ... I live in town and not in the country ... I was waxing the truck earlier today and seen where the paint is chipping on the front end , the front bumper and grille section has a lot of paint chips and its peeling in spots where the chip is at ... the truck came from the factory with PTM front end and mirror caps .

is this a warranty issue .. I went to dealer and the guy I need to talk to is off work today and wont be back till Monday but the sales manager said hes seen it before but that person didn't make a stink with ford on the issue ... im wondering if im going to be fighting a loosing battle . I just want it repainted to make it look new again

ive been told that the grilles and bumpers were painted at a different time and that's why im loosing the paint there and there absolutely no issues on the hood

any advice ?

sorry don't have any pics ... actually went to dealer today and talked to them and the ford rep and its not the first one they have seen like this ... I should be getting new paint on the front end in the next 2-3 weeks
