New Truck, New Mods, New Pictures

As some of you know, I traded my 2009 F150 Platinum in to the dealership back in early April when my new truck arrived at the dealership. I had to order my replacement since they couldn't find one equipped like I wanted. I went with a 2013 F150 Platinum with the 6.2L in it. Here are a few shots of the truck after returning from the dealership.

My truck was built on April 8th and I picked it up from the dealership on the 16th. Since picking it up I have been pretty busy ordering and installing the mods on the truck. I had the list of mods already prepared and the lift was on it within the first week. Here is a list of the equipment and current mods I have installed on the truck.

I can tell you that coming from a 5.4L in my 2009 to this was a huge difference. Even with the custom tunes I had on my 2009 it is not even close to how this 6.2L hauls.

I have also met the new owner of my old truck and we are looking to get them together soon for a photo shoot of the two trucks.

Looks great. I also seriously considered a 6.2, but just couldnt bring myself to spend 3k more for a truck with worse fuel economy. With that said, you have a very nice truck. Congrats

BTW. What's the deal here?

Retrofitted 2013 Ford F150 HID Projector Headlights Hella EVOX-R Projectors
OSRAM 66420 5000k CBI D2S Bulbs
Morimoto 5Five Ballast
Is the stock HID setup no good? I haven't been on the forums in a while so I haven't heard any chatter. The new lights and mirrors were two big draws to the 2013 for me.

I'm really digging the traction block system.

PS: Remove your front lower valance that is hanging down there! It's not doing anything now that's for sure!

Looks good buddy! I like that lift set-up. I never drove a 6.2L for the main reason I knew I'd have to have one . You do love those black plat's, but I can't make fun of you, I have had two Blue Flame's. It will def get my vote for TOTM, when it gets selected!

What else do you have planned for it?

Nicely done, all mods look great and don't detract from the Platinum package.
