Some will argue that the dry ones catch more dirt and that the oiled ones will let too much thru and can damage your engine or erode your turbo. I am not here to argue that point but I will say after over 100k miles of driving with an oiled k&n filter, I have had no issues. It's up to you if you want to fork out the money and try both but I think that this whole debate, which has been done over and over, would be totally based on opinion and personal experience and personal preference. Not starting a debate or trying to hijack, just telling the facts.
I agree 100 percent. I have run K&N in everything for years. I current,ly have them in my G35, both bikes, and my wife's CRV. I went with the Volant to replace a suspect S&B, and decided to try the dry filter to see if there was difference, on teh Accord I got a deal I couldn't pass up.

I have used k&n filters on 3 vehicles, 97 ranger for about 30k, my 04 f150 heritage for 25k and my 08 f150 for the whole life of it and it is now at almost 80k. 2 of those were cold air intakes(both f150s) and 2 were drop one(ranger and 04 f150 for about 5k before I bought the intake to replace it). I have had 0 problems except for one which was my fault. I used a hose clamp to hold the intake on my 08 and I tightened too much so it put it against metal and spread apart part of the element, more than I was comfortable with leaving that way so I replaced it.
