Now the NHTSA is getting their noses in it. Must be a rush of complaints after the latest lawsuit announcement.

I find this interesting that only ecoboost owners are complaining. I have had this happen on my 5.0 while passing on a two lane highway. The other vehicle was doing about 40 I really stuck my foot down in it to pass(I was driving aggressivly) and when I changed in to the other lane I lost engine power. I was able to look down and see the stability control/traction control light flash. IMO the programing for the stabilitrac is too sensitive or the factory tire size can't handle the power during a manuver under full throttle. I have not had this happen since I have switched to 22 inch wheels and much wider tires. although I feel i could easily throw my stock wheels back on and easily duplicate this.

the reports I read on my local news stated that the complaints were during full throttle accel and said nothing of a shudder or misfire under light to moderate accell. I am going to do more reading on this.
