'09 s'crew water leaks

i have a 2009 platinum (i have only had the truck for 3 months now). I have noticed that i have 2 leaks letting water into my interior.

Leak #1) passenger side front oh $h!t handle, i get a little trip from the top bolt hole after a heavy rain. what would would leak and allow water to run down the interior A-pillar plastic?? i am thinking that the seals around my Sirius radio receiver is not sealing any more.

Leak #2) in front of the rear window. if i go thru a car wash or after it rains, i will have water dripping down from where the head liner meets the rear window. I do not believe it is the rear window seal, appears to be coming from higher up. possibly 3rd brake light seal? i have ordered a new LED 3rd brake light to see if that fixes the problem (been wanting one anyways). what other seals are on the roof that could allow water to drain into the interior back there?

Any insight will be helpful. thanks in advance.

sirius antenna seal has shown to leak. i have an '09 and I occasionally get drips from handle. no issue with rear brake light so far. i think i'll just put a bead of silicone around the antenna instead of dropping the headliner and sealing it from there.

More than likely, it's your satt. antenna pod in the front, and the 3rd brake light in the rear.

Let us know. I have the same setup/truck so I'd be interested to hear.

updates - replaced the 3rd brake light the other day. when i removed the OEM light there was a chunk of gasket missing, guess i know how the water was getting in. its been about 5 days and no leaks. i have not done any thing with the sata antenna, but i will let you know what kind of repair i conjure up.

I talked to my dealer about it and they said it will be the satt antennae. They fixed mine and no more water.

Very interesting; I have had the same two challenges with my truck. I've been too lazy to investigate the cause. I will now have a look at those two spots and make repairs.
