Just wanted to pass along a good deal on TRS retrofit kits going on right now. There is another forum (non F150) doing a group buy and several of the members that originally committed to the group buy have not paid so the OP of the thread put the coupon code in the thread for anyone to use. After reading through the thread it seems as if they are willing to cross-post the code on multiple forums to get the group buy closed out which works out great for others that are not part of their forum but wanting to get a kit purchased and do a retro themselves.

Mods if I'm out of line here let me know. I don't know of any vendors that sell retrofit kits that compete with TRS so I don't think I'm doing anything wrong by passing along this info. Just trying to save some members some $$$!

Like he said they just sell the parts to do the retro. It's definitely not an easy task but with patience and the right tools it shouldn't be too bad.

 

I think there are only two more openings in the group buy!

I don't think there is a max amount of people to get the discount i think you just need a minimum of 25 people to get the 25% off.. Atleast that's how it was in my last group buy.. Speaking of discount i think i need some xb35 bulbs but might wait till the new ones come out..

 

Could be, but I definitely received the 25% off on my order. Maybe they're holding all the orders with that promo code until they get a minimum number.

 

^ exactly what they do. We started a group buy on Wednesday got the code Thursday and had 25 people and items shipped by Friday

 

Didn't work for me, I saw the discount until I tried to actually pay, then the amount was back to full price even though the coupon code was listed on the page.

 

Did you try using two codes because they only allow you to use one code per sale..

 

Yeah, yeah. I cost myself a good chunk of change too! Good to see others taking advantage of the group buy though. It always helps to click "submit" when you can take 25% off!

That's how it works. It takes at least 25 people and then the code continues to work until they "expire" it.

 

That's odd. I just put another kit in the shopping cart and the code does still work but I didn't continue on as if I was going to pay for it.

 

Also...... I think you were the 25th person DewserB which means our orders should ship shortly! Hopefully we'll get some confirmation on that soon!
