Oil Change Interval

For the last decade or so I've run full synthetic and changed the oil at 6k miles in my gas engines.

Guess I'm the only one that waits until the instrument panel tells me to go in. The manual said 10k miles and it turned on just before then. I took it in. The sticker they put on my truck was to bring it back in 7,500 miles because we live in an "extreme" climate area due to the heat in DFW.

nothing wrong with the 7500 mile recommendation....when I had my adrenaline I user to go by the dash also....
