First upgrade on my FX4
First upgrade on my FX4
I recently added icon coilovers, icon control arms, icon shocks, and toyo open country AT II 275/70R17 3 weeks ago. The front height is adjusted to 2.5 inches and the back has two blocks so it up 2 inches. Let me know what you all think. Any suggestions of making my ride look legit is appreciated. I'm basically going for a tough but classy look.
I'm thinking about decreasing the front to 1/2 inch and removing 1 block from the back.

You need bigger tires or lower the lift. For a level you could have spent a whole lot less and got the same look, unless you are going to wheel it. Not sure about the running boards either, kind of looks funny. Nice truck tho, love the FX in Ingot Silver.
svtclone What I meant by classly is a somewhat clean but tough look. The third step is to get into the back of the bed.
97isnotoid I've noticed a bigger difference when comes to the ride quality. Definitely better stability and control. I hardly feel any vibration when I go over bumps, dips, or on the off road. The steering wheel is a bit stiffer than before but so far I'm content with the icons. No complaints, yet.
99and04f150 I agree bigger tires or lower the lift. I'll more than likely end up lowering down the front since it's adjustable to about 1/2 inch lower which is 2 inches instead of 2.5 in. and the level out the back. Next year I'll complete the suspension by adding a icon stage 1 6 inch lift and swamp out the tires for some 35x12.5R20. The reason I have the nfab running boards is because I initially wanted to customize the Fx4 nto a prerunner look but then decided not to after all. I want the power running boards, so I might end up with those in the near future.
