What kind of hitch receiver cover do you have?

Looking for hitch receiver plug/cover. Prefer a black rubber cover with Ford logo embossed on it. Don't want anything real flashy. Had one on my 04 but it went with the truck when I sold it and can't find anything like it. What is everyone using?

I bought a step to match my running boards, with a brake light in it. Only use it a few months out of the year though, usually leave my drop hitch with ball on it for towing the boat.

Like you I didn't want anything flashy. I found a small cover on Ebay with the "Built Ford Tough" logo. Sorry I don't have any pics, but I'm sure you know what it looks like.

I have the original Ford logo like on our tailgates (chrome ring and Blue surrounding chrome FORD). Had it since 2000 and still looks good.

My truck is an 08 but I run a Reese 2" ball/drawbar in it all the time. I have a plastic chrome Ford logo that would fit in there, but after the ball/bar combo saved my bumper the first week I had it in, it's staying....

The black rubber ones with the ford logo came in the trucks in the early/mid 90's when ordered with the trailer towing pkg. I found one used on ebay a few years ago that I used on several of my recent trucks. It either fell out or was removed by someone's sticky fingers. I really liked the subtle look of those.

The one I linked locks in with the drawbar pin. If you don't want it to light up when your brake lights come on, you don't have to connect it to the 4 wire plug. I keep mine connected to help keep the plug from corroding.

I don't like when people leave their ball hitch in all the time. I usually end up banging my shin on it if there isn't a trailer hooked up.

I saw some nice looking hitch mount bumpers while surfing the web a couple weeks ago, don't recall the name though. They sounded like a good idea. All the benefits of saving the stock bumper from low speed collisions and no drawbacks like tripping over and banging shins into them. I think they even had extra features built-in or available like lights, steps, etc.

It's stainless steel with a cutout of the Ford script. It was a gift from a friend and id on it's second F150.

I just bought the balck Ford receiver cover from my LFD. I had one on my 2009 Plat and they had the same one for my 2013 Plat...was about $15/or so and looks nice w/o being overdone.
