2010 FX2 Service Recommendations?

I took my truck to the dealership because my AC would not blow out air on level 1. They checked it out and replaced some sort of resistor and all is good but the service technician said I needed the following ASAP:
Coolant Fluid Exchange: $119
Clean Fuel Injectors: $104
Power Steering Fluid Exchange: $99
Transmission Flush: $180
Rear Differential Service: $99

My question to you fellas is what do I really need and what is suspect? I get regular oil changes done at the dealer, drive mainly in the city, and barely have 33K miles on it. Your recommendations? Thoughts?

You didn't say what mileage you're at. I'm at 10,000 and have set my appt for an oil change and tire rotation. I'm not sure what else is required to be flushed or replaced at 10,000 miles either.

I did, I said I'm at 33K which is 33,000 miles.

With only 33K on the clock, you don't need any of that.

All of the maintenance requirements for your truck are listed in your owners manual.

You don't need ANY of that stuff with only 33k on it. Dealer is blowing smoke up your butt to try to make some money.

Coolant is good for 5 years or 100k. Fuel injectors do not need to be cleaned as part of routine maintenance, you can do essentially the same thing by putting a $6 bottle of Techron in the gas. Power steering and diff are good for 100k. Tranny should probably be done around 60k (factory says 150k, that's a bit too long).

When you say Tranny, do you mean the transmission flush?

I recommend consulting the owners manual, and asking the dealer why you should deviate frommit. There is a reason Ford created a recommended maintenance section, and it's not to just kill trees.

They're fishing for a sucker. Don't bite. I would just tell 'em if this is the way they operate, I'm going to another dealer for my service work.

That is if there is another Ford dealer near by.

Tranny fluid exchange, not flush. Done with a machine without any flush chemicals.
