Oil Leak After Sitting

Hey All,

I did a search without finding much, but I have a 2010 F150 w/50k miles on it that's been great. I left town for a week and when I came back, there was oil underneath, up front near what I believe is the transfer case.

I've never had this issue before, but also never went this long without driving the truck. Any ideas what might be the issue? Thinking a seal of some sort possibly.

Thanks.

The transfer case is at the middle, aprox at rear of drivers seat, not up front. Are yo sure you mo not mean the front diff. Other things near the front that could be leaking is engine itself, transmission lines to radiator, and power steering units. If fluid is red, it is either trannie fluid or PS fluid, otherwise it is diff fluid or engine oil.

Thanks. Fluid isn't red. Looks like engine oil ..

I had an oil leak up front also. It turned out to be the oil pan gasket. replaced under warranty
