EB in the deep south

I'v just orderd a lariat screw with ecoboost max tow and HD payload. From everything I've been able to see, it seems ford has corrected earlier condensation problems but I have not see any real world info to back this up. Just checking to see what EB drivers in the high humidity of the deep south are experiencing. I do see a lot of these around here and our local dealer seems o sell quite a few.

How deep of South do you want? I have a 2011 with the original intercooler design and through 2 Arkansas summers I haven't had an issue.

I'm west of Biloxi, near Mandeville. Guessing the intercooler issues may be more related to temp change and not overall humidity. Good to hear no problems. Now just have to wait about 7 more weeks to find out for myself.

In Atlanta. Drive downtown everyday for work. Get just over 17 mpg and no issues whatsoever. 2012 XLT Screw EB. I've posted a pic on here before where I got 26 mpg on a 4-1/2 hr trip to south Ga to my parents house. I'd say, best decision my wife ever made was when she told me to trade my 07 and buy a new one.

Edit:
Got me Easter Sunday (just days after I jinxed myself on here) while driving home on the interstate in the rain for 3 hours, pulling a boat... Cooler replaced and PCM flash the tuesday after.

Not from the South, but we just had a record rain season for the first 6 months of the year, 24.8" of rainfall, drove through a ton of rain, not a single issue.

When will people quit questioning the ecoboost? I mean seriously, there are two types of engine fans out there. 1) those that know the ecoboost is superior in every way; and 2) those that are in complete denial.

1st I'll start by saying that I do love my ecoboost. That being said I did have the shudder and loss of power when passing a big rig uphill while in the rain. Had to pull over, turn the engine off, and restart it. This was with about 2200 miles on the truck. I had been driving at a pretty steady 70-75 mph for a few hours, all in the rain. It was the only time it happened (it was in Tennessee). I'm now in Ca. And we don't get very much rain here. I have a 2013 with an April 2013 build date.
