2013f150 xlt supercab 3.7 liter

Looking to buy f150 super cab xlt 3.7 liter looked at some of the dealerships web sited to see if they have some on the lot hardly any. The 3.5 ecoboost and the 5 liter seem to be the most popular around here in the Philadelphia,pa area. I was wondering if it is the same way in other parts of the country .
Thanks in advance,
Ralph

I just checked my local dealer's inventory. They have 79 2013 F150's in stock, and 8 of them have the 3.7. 4 of them are Scabs and those 4 are all 4wd.

I think that it's pretty much the same everywhere.

I was in for an oil change yesterday and I walked though the lot. If you are looking for a RWD they've got two at Family Ford in Enfield CT. http://http://familyfordofenfield.com/Hartford-and-Springfield-area/For-Sale/New/

I don't know how far you'd be willing to go, or if your local dealership could trade with one up here. If I really wanted something, I'd travel down there to get it.

Good luck!

Well, I can't say for sure. I don't know here they got their information from, but if you do an internet search, there isn't anything about Ford doing away with the 3.7, in any vehicle. It's also the standard engine in the XL, STX and XLT F150 for 2013.

The 3.7 is used in at least three Ford vehicles and at least two Lincolns. If someone told me that Ford was going to stop making the 3.7 V6, the only thing that I would have to say is, show me.

In any event, if you want a 3.7 F150, there are plenty of 2013's out there. It's just a matter of getting one that you want that's reletively close to you.

Sounds shady to me. He may be just hoping you will bite on a truck they have already. I've heard of no such thing. I think I would steer clear of this guy. If he would go there, he would tell you anything.

Maybe Ford isn't accepting any orders for 3.7's in trucks right now, but that would be temporary.
