Is anybody having problems with the sync when it comes to the blue tooth audio? I have a Galaxy 3 phone that it connects to find but when i sync up the ipod and go under entertainment it only shows BT Audio for my phone, and on occasion it will show the ipod. I just got the latest update but still not working.

 

Is there not a audio jack you can plug your I pod into? I also remember people saying that apple and mac products never seem to get along. You may want to go to the dealer and get the update done and see if that helps.

 

i always have to go into the menu and switch it back over to bluetooth to play my phone cause i dont like to have it plugged in cause im normally always on the phone ... kind of irritating

 

I think I read in the owners manual that the sync can only connect to one bt device at a time.
If you are saying it doesn't always give you an option to choose the ipod then i'm not sure what to tell you as I have the same problem.

My sync annoys the crap out of me with not finding my iPod and also insisting to remind me every freaking time that I have 911 assist disabled. I know its disabled as I disabled it so why prompt me every time I get into my truck!?

 

I never had a problem connecting with my iPhone for BTA but it seems like in the last few weeks it doesn't want to connect unless I hook it up to the USB then it starts working fine. It would be nice to know what's causing it..

 

I have had the issue with connecting a few times. I do have an I-phone. I figure it's one of two things. 1) Microsoft sucks. Or 2) there really is a woman in the sync and she is a bit tough to work with.

 

I have the same phone and never had a problem with the sync on my 2011 F150's sync, the phone auto connects, tell synch to play bluetooth audio, and it goes. But on the 2013 Loaner Taurus I have, it's a crap shoot. Sync seems to bug out and won't connect, I didn't bother calling the 800 # because well, we know how much they know. I had some success with deleting my phone, renaming my phone in it's own settings, then re adding it, but one day sync wouldn't let me delete the damn thing. It would show it deleted, then I'd go back a menu, go back in, and it was still in the list. It also takes 4 freaking minutes to connect sometimes too.

Sometimes when switching from my SG3's music player app, to pandora, it bugs out too, then I'll tell sync to play bt audio and it says no bt audio player is found, even though it was playing 10 seconds ago!

 

Ok, so after playing with mine a but I removed my USB2 aka my iPod in the jockey box, it works just fine, I don't know why it would mess it up, but when I connect it it seems to act up, but when I remove it the Bluetooth audio works great. Weird..
