Question Clunking noise?

Hey, I have a 2011 Platinum ecoboost (3.5L) and am currious about a clunking noise that seems to coming from the transfer case when 4WD is engaged. No performance issues are present to my knowledge and I'm wondering if i've caused damage somehow by engaging 4WD while moving down the road. Is this a normal or should I be worried?

does it come from shifting into to 4 hi or 4 low? usually shifting into 4 low will cause a clink noise. thats completely normal though.
