Superchip?

Is it worth getting a chip without doing the other mods like Cold Air Intake, and Dual Exhaust, Etc. If I was not able to afford all at one time what order would be of best benefit. I am looking for increased fuel mileage and some better transmission shifting. Not so much in performance since I'm not a street racer.

Also because of the payback would these mods just not be worth it?

I'm not sure if anybody "chips" motors anymore. I'm not being a smart ***, but almost everything out there is a programmer now where you plug into the OBD port and download tunes. To answer your question about tuning without mods would vary. Your best bet is to call 5star, Livernois (depending on which motor you have), Evolution performance, KEM, etc. and see what they have to say.
