Some of the competing F150 sites have some extensive plasti dipping threads on the go, FYI. Next time I'm stateside I am picking up a bunch of plasti dip since it's about 4x cheaper than in Canada.

Although I have not used plasti dip my vote goes to it for the simple fact it can be reversed quickly and easily....so if you EFF it up, don't worry!

That's the best reasoning, cheef. Don't like it, peel it. there's another vote for the dip.

My vote would be for the line-x. I think it would make for a pretty rugged look, particularly if you ran it along the bottom like the two tone you used to be able to get on the fx4 a few years back. A pic-

So everywhere you see grey there, have it line-x'd. Just my opinion.

Well I went out and bought a can of Plast-Dip and all I can say is OMG THIS STUFF IS THE GREATEST PRODUCT EVER MADE! I went crazy with it, I think I sprayed every hand tool I own. Home Depot only had black available so I'll need to find something close to Sterling Grey Metallic online. But definitely the best recommendation so far. This stuff changed my life.

I love the fact that its temporary, whereas the line-x is pretty much permanent. I have commitment issues.

I did the lower rear fascia of my Z06 with Plastidip and it lasted pretty well for over a year. Beware though that PD doesn't handle solvents very well so you'll have to be careful about cleaning products. I got some bug&tar remover on mine and it started to peel so I took it all off. I used Goo Gone to take it right off and it left absolutely no residue.

That's the best part. don't like it; peel it. For tools, they have the actual can that you can dip the handle in. But yes, it changed many lives. It's an unbelievable product. I'm sure they can order the color you wish. they even have gun metal now too. And again, they make a metalizer to spray over it as a clear coat but still peelable.

I love Line-x too, I did the bed and the inner fenders on my rig. But it's expensive. Plasti dip costs penny's in comparison and is reversible. It's a no brainer unless you are lucky enough to have money to burn.

Love the Z06 scooter, one of my most memorable rides happened in a 2004
