2010 f150 xlt questions

Hey guys,

I recently found a buyer for my 02 and my best friend has a 2010 f150 xlt with every option avalible. It only has 9800 miles on it and has been garaged kept since new and its the same color as my truck! I know it was the last year for the 5.4 before they went to the 5.0 or ecoboost and i can get the truck for 22k out the door from him. It has all the options i love and the color is perfect i was just wondering what your guys thoughts were on that price and the 5.4 in it? I am thinking it is a good deal since the milage is so low and its been zibart rust proofed, under coated and has a very nice trifold aluminum bed cover and wheather tech floor mats. Any thoughts would be greatly appricated. heres a pic of the identical looking truck

Thanks!

I bought my '10 XLT supercrew with 22k miles for $24k so it seems like a deal to me, 9800 isn't even broken in yet. The 5.4 is tried and tested with decent aftermarket support if ya need more power. Gorgeous truck, I almost got that color.

The triton engines are good engines. Don't let that be a concern. I went from a 2010 Screw with a 4.6 3V to a 2012 4x4 Screw XLT with the 5.0 and I can't tell a bit of difference. Maybe it's the extra weight of the 4x4.

I am just getting ready to trade off my 2010 because it is past its mileage of 100k. The engine has been rock solid so far. Have had very few issues the whole truck. One early on with the a/c, and just recently at a 102,000 miles, it developed a leak in the tranny. Was an easy fix, so not a big deal. Other than that, it has been a very good truck.
