drop 2012 standard cab 2/3 or more

has anyone here done a drop on a standard cab, f150 with 5.0, to something like a 2/3, or more. i want to still be able to pull my trailer (16 ft toy hauler about 250 lb tongue weight). i talked to Bell-tech they have a 2 inch rear drop, then next is 5.5, that guy did not recommend the 5.5 for that trailer. i called bell-tech, they have a kit for a 2/4 39861, but they said it was not for standard cab (which didn't make sense to me).

so i am looking for some help, to put something together. 3 inch drop in rear preferred i guess with i guess 2 in in front. i guess bell tech would work up front, but what is out there for the rear?

i would even bag the rear if it worked on a 5.5 drop in back, but i read ther were issues with that fitting with the flip kit.

thanks!

Take the money and buy stock symbol VFINX mutual fund (S&P 500 Index fund), your money will be better spent.

i called them today. they didn't give me that option. not sure what the deal is about a standard cab, but it seems that for what ever reason these places say teh set up for teh crew cab, won;t work on teh standard. ground force and Bell tech told me that. the guy at bell tech said they that from them i had 2 options, 2 inch shackle, or 5.5 drop, which he said would not be good if i am going to pull my little toy hauler.

btw - are you Patman of TCCRA and Rekluse, fame?

My only guess is the pinion angle CB relocation not available, or not researched. AFAIK all the trucks use the same size leaf springs

Patman, are you an installer. i had someone else that i was probably going to work with, to do this, but he has no experience with these trucks, which is why i was making the calls to Grand force and bell tech. I have a feeling what they have will work, and it seems you already know that, but maybe it is not one kit that they have, or they haven't actually put the stuff on a standard cab, so they won't recommend it. that at least was what the girl at ground force was saying.
