Question Questionable Sounds

Hey y'all. I'm really not sure where to post this, so figured I'd start here since my truck is a 2010. Moderators, feel free to move it if you feel its more appropriate somewhere else.

Ok, so here's the problem. The best I can describe is my truck at times, when I accelerate almost sounds like it needs to "clear its throat" for lack of a better description. But thats what it sounds like. Like if something just cleared it out, it would be better, like a cough. And when I really get on it, I occasionally get a buzzing that sounds like its coming from the dash. Any thoughts?

Here are the mods I have on my truck, just so you have as much info as possible:

2010 FX4 SuperCrew with a 5.4
Using Ford Full Synthetic Oil
Borla ProXS SIDO exhaust (swapped out factory Y-pipe for a magnaflow, swapped out stock pipe from Driver Cat to Y-pipe with a mandrel bent SS pipe)
S&B CAI
5-star Tuned SCT X3

Let me know if you need any more information. Thanks!

I agree with you on the buzzing in the dash. Seems to have coincided with the CAI. What about the "congestion" though? I honestly can't remember if that came with the CAI or not. Thanks for your input!

i dont really know about the congestion. best way i can described cai is that when you put your foot in to it all you hear is one consistent sound that doesnt really change with your rpms. its just a constant throaty sound. without the cai your hear more motor from up there and you can hear the rpms climbing. i dont know if this is your case, but its how ive always felt about cai. i guess if you have time and your original, throw it back on on day and see what happens

Return the tune to stock and see if that clears it up. If it does, contact your tuner.

Ok thanks. I do have the original still, so maybe over the holidays, I'll throw it back in to see if it changes.
