Finally!

Well ladies and gentlemen, here it is. After 2 years of waiting I have finally started making noticeable progress. I put on the Icon coilovers set at 3 inches, tires and wheels, and a programmer! The wheels I originally bought were too wide with too much offset so I have them in my garage awaiting the fiberglass fenders that will allow them to clear. I added an SCT Xcal3 with custom tunes from VMP Tuning. Excellent service from VMP and I got my programmer in 5 days. I will have the stock 3.31s in it until February, but even with the stock gears the SCT makes this thing move! Much better than stock and I only lost 2 mpg. I have it set on 93 Octane performance tune.

Without further delay, here's some pics:

Yes, thats 35x12.5x17 Toyo M/Ts on 17x8.5 +25 MB TKO on a leveling kit, with no rub.

These are the wheels I had originally planned to put on. 17x9 +0 Level * Strike 6. There was no way they were going to fit with the stock front bumper and fenders. I need a prerunner and glass!

Nice little sunset shot.

Close up of the wheels and tires.

Will be getting a solid black mesh grille and FX4 headlights sooner or later, along with smoking the tails.

Not the best shot of how far they stick out. They stick out a little more than the picture suggests. About 3/4 to 1 inch. Oh and a little teaser for what shes packin in the brain.

Another good angle. And a shock of the Bill Effin Murray sticker. Any Chivers?

Alright guys. Thats what has come of her so far. Ill keep it updated as things change. Hopefully in February I can do the fenders, ADD bumpers, grille, lights and gears. Let me know what y'all think!

I like the red with the black wheels. That's a tough look! And the Bill Murray sticker Too tough to tame!

Thanks guys. I wasn't too happy with the black wheels at first, but they have definitely grown on me.

I really like the black wheels with your red truck. The black door handles and tint seem to pull it all together. What about black plasti-dip on the bumpers and grill?

I'm getting custom prerunner bumpers made that look similar to Addictive Desert Designs bumpers, putting on a black mesh grille, smoking the tails and putting on black headlights in February.

Thanks guys. It feels nice to not be riding granpa style anymore. I actually look forward to driving it everyday now. Especially with the programmer. She's hauls butt.
