I currently own a 2012 Ecoboost supercrew. Upon start-up it seems to take a bit to turn over. This does not occur all the time, but enough to notice. This is my first vehicle with a turbo-boost, and not sure if that is the issue.

 

Mine does the same thing. Sometimes it cranks a lot longer.

 

Mine 2012 EcoBoost does the same. I've got a 2011 Mustang GT 5.0 and there are times when I feel like it isn't going to start. It takes what seems like forever to start sometimes. Othertimes there is no delay. And I find it very weird. When the Mustang does it, it makes the EcoBoost's delay seem like it's nothing.
