Thanks, the black rails are Putco. I got everything done at Raven in Edmonton including the tint. I work for Weatherford so I saved 20-30% for everything done. The 3m is a clear protector that goes on your painted bumpers, 18" up on hood, fenders and your mirrors. It protects your paint from rock chips. And I had to double check the drive shaft, and yes it is a 2 piece, surprised for a 6.5 box. Raven is putting on new box rails for me again as they scratched them when installing it. I will probably end up down the road plasti dipping the rails. Have a 2" leveling kit going in with 1" blocks at the back in Dec.

The truck looks awesome!!
I too have the 3m all over the front of my truck...mirrors...door edges...it was definitely worth the money.
I'm curious how the rails installed and if you could attach a yakima system to the rails??

Congrats!

That thing is PIMP! I too tinted mine with 3M. Got 15% on the back and then 25% on the front which is the legal limit here in Texas. Makes a big difference on a sunny day. Thought about tinting the sunroof but I am still on the fence.

How much would the 3M coating run? Also, what sort of life can you expect out of it?

Love everything except for the bed rails, the rails sort of take the truck back a little but if u like it that's all that matter.

Depends where u get it done, I got 30% off and mine was $525. so probably $600-$1000. Mine comes with life time warrenty, thats basically covering the pealing. I guess it depends on how much rock and sand chips u will get. Its well worth it for me because my last truck the front end looked horrible.

Thanks. I drive down to south texas quite often so the bugs are horrible. They can eat the paint right off the front end.
